“a Lovely, peaceful resort with amazing staff”
The vibe, the people, and the amenities were all great, with plenty of singing that was very pleasant. I would have liked a small gym for workouts, and it wasn’t possible to walk very far from the property.
This was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. The island itself is gorgeous, with great snorkeling right off the beach and a stunning view from the mountain top. The staff were incredible—friendly and helpful. The activities were all excellent: the village tour is a must, and we also snorkeled with manta rays and did a guided hike up the mountain. Because the resort is so small, you get to know the other guests, which was nice. The meals were perfect for us, offering various meat, seafood, and vegetarian options, all delicious. Nothing to complain about!
“Séjour très agréable dans un lieu paradisiaque avec un personnel au petit soin. Repas compris dans le prix qui valent vr”
The staff are adorable, the setting is paradise, and there are plenty of accessible activities. Meals are included and unlimited if you ask! The only drawback is the lack of a gym in such a remote location, making it hard to stay active outside of the few rare hikes.
The welcome was amazing, the food impressive, and the staff were so lovely and attentive—we loved everything!
“Disappointing experience”
The surrounding nature and live music at dinner were nice. However, the price was extremely high for the level of service; at that rate per night, the quality felt more like a 2‑star than a 4‑star hotel. In the room, a bad smell came from the toilet, and shockingly there was no door between the bathroom and bedroom—a first for me. Food choices were limited, though the chef was friendly and willing to adjust the menu. The beach disappoints at low tide, with sand almost gone and only rocks left. Requests for information, help, or transport arrangements often went unanswered. Most activities cost extra, even hiking at 165 Fijian dollars per person. We specifically asked for a covered taxi boat to another resort because of bad weather, but due to a reception mistake it wasn’t arranged, leaving us exposed to heavy rain and soaking our belongings. The island is nice, but the value for money was terrible, and we would not return.
