I picked this spot because I wanted to swim with whale sharks and it was less than 10 minutes by scooter. The room was really small, it wasn’t on the beach as the photos made it look, the shared outdoor toilet and shower area wasn’t ideal, and the trash bins hadn’t been emptied in a while, which attracted animals.

The place is simple and cute, with cabins right on the sea. The caregiver’s attitude was off‑beat; the first day, as soon as we arrived, he asked what we had planned and immediately called a guide to take us to Sumilon Island, pushing us to go quickly. He first quoted 1000 pesos and then raised it to 1500 pesos. The same happened with motorbike rentals—watch out.

The view is great and it’s literally a camping ground, plus there’s a coffee shop right next to it. The room is tiny for two people, more suited for kids.

It was peaceful and serene, and the caretaker was very accommodating. The only downside was there was no air conditioning.

A good spot for glamping with kids. The restroom is small and the door is broken.
