Across from the River, the reception was dark, seedy, and closed, the grounds were filthy, the old mattresses in the car park were dirty, there was rubbish everywhere, the pool was half empty and dirty, and the gardens were unkept.

The spot was great, the balcony was nice, and the room came with cutlery, crockery, and a microwave. The staff were friendly, and getting in and parking was a breeze. The pool, however, really needed some work.

The rooms were very comfortable, nice and clean, the staff were very quiet and friendly, and there was nothing to complain about.

The sheets were filthy—blood stains everywhere—and the location felt sketchy, not matching the photos at all. The pool was half full and unusable, there was no outdoor lighting at night, and I couldn’t tell if my door was locked. We paid for executive king rooms but only got one executive king, two pool rooms, and a queen room, with no discount.
