Friendly staff, everything clean, service okay. The underground parking was a hassle; at check‑out I was told a spot had to be assigned, but at 19 o’clock I still didn’t get one even though I’d paid in the afternoon.

A well‑renovated hotel in Bayreuth. At the reception, the check‑in and check‑out were fine and all my data were present, yet the system kept recording a timer in the morning and evening. The billing address I had stored – of course – was never there. My attempts to find it led to addresses in Saudi Arabia and France. Even after two attempts to correct it, it still didn’t work properly, and I simply wanted an invoice sent to my company address.

A hearty breakfast, well‑equipped clean rooms, and the central location make the H4 a very good address in Bayreuth.

A perfect overnight hotel on the way to or from Italy! The location in the city center with pedestrian streets is unbeatable, and there are so many sights that it’s ideal for a longer stay. The rooms were excellent and the beds comfortable with lovely air‑conditioning. Breakfast was superb! Parking garage in the basement was a plus.

Nice hotel with good breakfast and a restaurant. We could eat in the bar because we had a dog. The room felt enclosed when we arrived and required ventilation. The snack selection in the bar could be more varied.
