Haven Hotels - Bochum

The location is convenient and comfortable, but there is a parking issue.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious, and the parking was convenient. However, the breakfast that cost 13.70 € was terrible: the coffee was so thin you could see the bottom of the cup, the orange juice had a metallic taste, the vegetables and butter were uncooled, and the rolls were stale. The presentation and quality were subpar, so I would not recommend it.

“Nicht noch einmal.”

I arrived to a room that smelled like a clogged bathroom drain, and there was still a T‑shirt from the previous guest hanging in the wardrobe. I had to rush to a meeting, so I showered in that stinky bathroom, but the drain was so blocked that I had to turn the water off repeatedly; the reception was already empty by then. The next day I complained, but they offered me a different room, which I declined because I just wanted to leave. I paid 177 € for two nights plus 8 € for parking, but I only stayed one night and left a day early, feeling completely dissatisfied.

“Lage prijs dus acceptabel”

The price and self‑check‑in were fine, but the hotel feels damp and moldy.

“Nie wieder”

The location is good, but the reception was not staffed, and the breakfast I had booked was not provided and I have not yet received a refund.
