Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
They gave us food that grew in the garden, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. However, three dogs were locked in a small cage by the room windows, which felt like animal abuse and made the place smell bad. The room itself was very dusty. There’s no supermarket nearby, and it takes 10 minutes on foot to reach the bus stop.

The staff were friendly and interesting to chat with, but there was only one bathroom for everyone. If it got full, it would have been a bit chaotic.

It’s a nice spot to unwind, the host is friendly and the story behind its creation is fascinating. The kitchen and relaxation area are great, and the local café Ashley offers a nice view. Don Joaquin’s dairy products and café are also fantastic. The only downside is that each room only has two bunks instead of three; it would feel too tight if you had six people in one room. It might also help to offer a pickup from the bus stop at Ashley café to attract more visitors.

The hospitality was excellent, the people who greet you are very kind, and it’s a good place to rest at night and explore the highlands or any other spot in Chiriquí. Everything was great, but I’d suggest adding a curtain to the window in the room that says “Get Free.”
