The pousada was a real treat—luxurious, with gorgeous design. But the restaurant was a mess, even when it was empty, and the staff barged into our room before checkout without knocking. Not cool.

This place is stunning, super clean, and always left a little gift in the room. Breakfast is a highlight, the bed is ultra‑comfortable, and the shower is top‑notch. The city had power cuts, but the hotel’s generator kept everything running. The only downside? The pool is climate‑controlled but not heated—so in August it’s a bit chilly for daytime dips.
