The walls had stains, the door and bathroom windows had ripped screens, the floors were filthy, and the room smelled like poop the entire first day we were there.

I appreciated that there was more than just a pool—tetherball and swings were fun—and the rooms were lovely, letting us set the temperature just right. I have nothing major to complain about, except that I wish there were more than one trash can in our room.

The pool was a highlight, but the hotel staff never communicated with each other, and the room we had booked turned out to be already taken, so they had to send us to a sister property.
