Banaue Greenfields Inn and Restaurant

At 63 I visited the Banaue Rice Terraces and found a second home in Greenfield; the place is spotless, gorgeous, with a lovely view, and the food is tasty. What made it special were Madam Irene and her staff—so kind, so helpful, always ready to assist, making you feel like family rather than a guest. I’ll never forget the surprise birthday cake Madam Irene baked for me on Oct 27 when I was away from home; it was unforgettable. If you’re heading to Banaue, this is THE place to stay. The place is well maintained, the staff are pleasant and welcoming. The mattresses are comfortable and the view is splendid. It’s a bit out of the center; you’ll need a long walk or transport to get around, but it’s worth it, trust me!

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and tidy (a petite lady with great care). It’s close to Batad. However, the two‑person rooms were too small; we had to take an extra room because with the luggage we couldn’t move around comfortably.

Friendly owner. Clean room with a working hot shower and a window with balcony for good airflow. If you want a great stay in Banue choose this one.
