“Bright room with great view”

I stayed just outside the Rimini/San Marino bus stop and a short walk to the old walled city. The room was clean, quiet, bright, and had a great view plus a mini‑fridge. I checked in at Hotel Joli, but the actual room was a couple hundred meters away. Breakfast, which I didn't pay for, was served at Hotel Joli where the staff were friendly and helpful. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the only small food store is close to the Information Center in the walled city.

“Asegúrense a qué Hotel lo van a destinar.”

I was disappointed because the listing said it was a hotel, but they sent me to a different place with no reception. They don’t let you change rooms, claiming I asked for it. They actually run two hotels and mix up the names. The photos show a reception, but the real reception doesn’t exist; it’s just a door to apartments with no staff. In room “Chica” the pillows were bad, and they charged me separately for breakfast. I didn’t read the fine print, so I paid for breakfast one day only. The next day I had to leave early, we asked for a coffee to wake up, and they charged us for it, which felt absurd because there was no coffee maker or thermal jug in the room. I’ll upload a photo of the supposed hotel entrance that isn’t in the Booking photos. They show a hotel in the pictures but send you to another place. I didn’t like the deception.

The place was clean, welcoming, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring San Marino.

“Hotel in sehr guter Lage - für einen Kurzaufenthalt absolut okay.”

The room was nice but small, while the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The balcony was generous but unfortunately dirty. The view was great, and the Wi‑Fi reception was good with a very well‑working air‑conditioner. The location was perfect – the historic old town is just a 10‑minute walk. There’s a private parking spot for 12 € per night right next to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, and the price‑to‑value ratio was acceptable. The balcony was unkempt and dirty. We used the discount voucher from the reception for the hotel’s restaurant, but the food quality and quantity were poor, and the service left a lot to be desired. The breakfast room was very small and problematic, especially when a tour group was there like we were.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was excellent and we were impressed by the room’s cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the reception ladies spoke English very well, assisted us with everything, and there was no pressure or problems. The location was also great for getting around and sightseeing. The walls between rooms are quite thin, so we could hear the TV and conversations from neighboring rooms fairly well.
