“Top notch”
A lively pub right on the corner, spot on the spot. Nothing else to add.

Absolutely brilliant!

The place was pretty and the location near the gorgeous village Smisby was lovely, offering good value for money and suitable for a single night. It was a bit confusing to find and check‑in felt somewhat disorganised, but that didn’t really matter.

The Tap House sits in a great spot and the pub side of the place is really solid, but the room itself is cramped and the bathroom could use a makeover. The bedroom furniture is shabby, marked and scuffed, so it should be marketed strictly as a single room.

The room was beautiful upon arrival, check‑in was extremely fast, and there was a Nespresso machine in a spacious room. Parking was ample, and the hotel is situated on a main road, remaining well visible at night. However, the shower had very low water pressure, the room faced the parking lot with lights that couldn’t be dimmed, the curtains were very light, and the lack of breakfast was a missed opportunity despite it being listed in the booking.
