The front‑desk staff were the only good part. We received exactly the room we booked, which wasn’t expensive, but it was a nightmare: the entire wall was covered in mold, the AC had never been serviced and was also moldy, spreading that air throughout the room—life‑threatening, frankly, and irresponsible to offer such a place. The higher‑priced rooms might be better, but that’s not what we experienced. The shower was broken too. If this were my hotel, I wouldn’t offer those rooms at all, as they ruin the hotel’s reputation.

I had requested a quiet room because I’m sensitive to noise, and I was lucky to find out upon arrival that I had been upgraded at no extra cost. I’m still grateful to the staff for that generous gesture. The pool was lovely, the bungalow beautiful, and the nearby restaurants were convenient. The laundry service helped stitch a torn pair of pants, which I appreciated. The Wi‑Fi was flaky, likely due to storms, but the issue was acknowledged and addressed.

“Not so good in low season”

The room was great with lovely balcony views, though the frosted window blocked the view from inside. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the pool table. However, the place was empty—just us, with no other guests, likely because it was low season in July. There was no staff present, no breakfast, and no bar. They should either close during low season or provide all advertised services. We were given a small stipend to compensate for the missing breakfast we’d paid for in our booking. We had been looking forward to enjoying the beautiful garden for breakfast and an evening open bar.

I was close to several activity spots, but the pool right in front of the road was dirty and too hot, and the bathroom had a huge amount of mosquitoes and really needs a full renovation; the bikes they rent are in terrible condition.

The pool, cozy bungalows, and the beautiful garden with a great view are wonderful, and the area is quiet, but the reception area is dirty and dusty, everything else is great.
