The spot is unbeatable—just a few meters from the Trevi fountain with a clear view over the laneway, perfect for beating the crowds early. The rooms, however, are typical of Italian hotels: not very spacious and the second beds are just fold‑out camping style with a mattress on top.

The location was good. The staff could have been friendlier. The basic facilities were adequate.

Breakfast was awful, with limited options, and the cellar room felt dull and cramped. The lady with white hair was miserable and rude. Better customer‑service training is needed for the white‑haired staff. The dungeon breakfast area would probably make me avoid booking this hotel again. On the last day we asked to extend our stay for 3‑4 hours; he said he could do it if we paid £200, I offered £100 and he declined. The hotel lost £100.

The only good thing was the location. The bed was uncomfortable for my daughter, so I ended up sleeping on the floor. The bathroom was dirty and had loose springs that stuck into the mattress more than a normal bed; it felt like a mattress on a bed, which is terrible. I do not recommend it to anyone.
