I liked that the lounge was available to relax, but when we arrived at 9:10 we were disappointed to see that most of the food had already been eaten and not replenished.

Nestled in Strasbourg’s northern district, Château de Pourtalès blends historic charm with modern comfort across three distinct buildings. Traditional rooms in the Château and Annex showcase authentic period details, while the Park building offers contemporary décor inspired by surrounding gardens. A very pretty, renovated castle hotel from the 19th and 18th centuries with lovely, well‑maintained furnishings. The lounge areas offer self‑serve coffee and tea, and the rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. The beds are superb and the October climate inside the rooms is pleasant. The staff are very helpful, speaking French, German, and English. Overall, an absolutely recommended place in Strasbourg, even if it’s a bit outside the city centre.

Location is great, but there are few facilities nearby.

A beautiful, large room that’s very dog‑friendly. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is lovely and the surroundings are wonderful. The only thing we missed was a small on‑site restaurant, but the staff called and booked us a table at a nearby restaurant.
