The view by the sea is amazing—you can arrive by car or boat. The rooms are superb, the pools are nice, and the staff are kind and friendly. The restaurant is excellent, and they also have a cocktail bar. The beds were great, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were good. It’s a truly relaxing island.

When we got there I was a bit nervous because the island’s roads are winding and steep, and you really have to drive to get anywhere, but after four days we didn’t want to leave! The property sits in the most idyllic bay; one night it was very busy with moored boats, but overall it was peaceful and serene. Our room had a huge window and we woke up to a spectacular view. We had rain for two days but it didn’t bother us; it was still a pleasure to be there. Using the communal kitchen to make coffee (using Nespresso pods) and sitting to enjoy the view was a highlight. I’m someone who needs to be forced to slow down and relax, and this island lets you do that! The restaurant next to the property and others in the bay were really overpriced and not great. We ended up driving into town where the food was exceptional, had an authentic atmosphere, and much better choices. The restaurants here target people mooring their boats, which is unfortunate. But we booked the room, not the restaurant, so we didn’t mind eating elsewhere.

The apartment has a perfect view and all the possibilities to be perfect. The apartment shares a communal kitchen and living room that is generally not usable because it’s shared with several apartments and visitors. Breakfast can’t be prepared; in the restaurant you’ll wait up to an hour because it simply isn’t prepared.
