The view of Er Hai lake and the mountains is absolutely stunning, and the breakfast each morning was solid. The staff were polite and helpful. The only snag? The AC in my room didn't work, so it got chilly at night.
The staff were really nice and the room was very clean. It's a family‑run place. We got to try the typical Dali breakfast – homemade and tasty. Everyone was helpful and caring. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old city center, but you can just order a taxi.

The room was gorgeous, cosy, super comfy, and the view was breathtaking. Everything you could need was there. The staff were adorable – when I had to go to the hospital they offered a taxi, they handed me water when I asked, and they checked on me the next day. The only downside is that the hotel sits in a busy area with a lot of other hotels and it's a bit far from the main tourist spots.
