The reception and lobby were amazing and welcoming. The view of the forest and the hummingbirds was fantastic, and the staff were attentive and kind. The room itself was very spacious. However, the walls had dampness and peeling at the bottom, the towels were low quality, and adjusting the shower temperature was a struggle—either too cold or too hot.
Everything was fantastic: the view from my room with trees full of birds, the hummingbirds in the main common room, the freshly made breakfast—Ecuadorian style, the best! The staff were incredibly helpful and cared about my experience in Mindo. The bathroom was beautiful, and the complimentary shampoo and soap were wonderful and refreshing; I can’t imagine a better option in Mindo. If I ever return, I’ll definitely stay here again.

“Perfect stay in Mindo, lovely peaceful hotel”
This lovely little hotel is within walking distance of the town centre yet still quiet, with a charming terrace overlooking the forest where you can spot many birds. We enjoyed our stay so much that we added an extra night. Every staff member was wonderful and the food was exceptionally good, making us feel like we were eating healthy home‑cooked meals each day. We were truly sad to leave! Thanks to the entire team at @Margarit boutique hotel for making our stay in Mindo special 🙏🏻
