The room was large and comfortable; the bathroom was small and basic, but the shower was excellent. The quiet location outside the main village was a plus, especially since we were avoiding the major roadworks. The hosts were kind, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. They even arranged a five‑hour horse‑riding trek for us. Nothing else to mention.

The hosts were very friendly, and the plov we had there was the best we’ve tasted in Central Asia. We also enjoyed a karaoke night with the other guests. Jyrgalan is currently undergoing major reconstruction, with dozens of lorries constantly passing through town, so the whole area is dusty. I understand the ski resort will be finished for the winter.

The host was very kind and helpful, preparing a last‑minute lunch for us when we didn’t know where to eat. She can also arrange horseback rides if you’re interested. The room was very spacious, and there was a supplemental heater if needed. Dinner was delicious. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, but perhaps she hadn’t had time to tidy it as she’d hoped because we arrived early and caught her off guard.

The hostess Jihek was fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed and cooking delicious meals while always staying in a great mood; I highly recommend the guesthouse because we truly felt very much at home.

This lovely guesthouse sits in the heart of Jyrgalan, the beds are super comfy and warm, breakfast is delicious, and the hostess is kind and welcoming—just don’t refuse an offer of karaoke and a dance!
