The place is huge, spotless and set in a gorgeous mountain spot. It does feel a bit out of the way, but the drive up is beautiful and you can reach Brixlegg in just over ten minutes. All in all, a great base if you don’t mind a short trip to town.

We stayed in a two‑storey, roomy apartment on a quiet farm, up the hill from Brixlegg’s centre – not everyone loves the distance, but our family did. The flat was tidy, cozy and had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the host family was friendly even though we didn’t speak German (Google Translate saved the day). The narrow, uphill road is just Alpine‑style access, nothing scary.

The holiday flat is big, beautiful and sits right on a farm; the hosts are extremely friendly and the kitchen is fully equipped with good beds to boot. It’s a little tucked away on the mountain, which some might see as a downside, but the isolation is part of its charm.
