The breakfast staff were friendly, but there was no TV or fridge in the room and the entire property is smoke‑free, which isn’t appealing for a smoker.

The property is spacious and thoughtfully designed, and the fruit salad at breakfast is fresh; however, we found the food’s value for money lacking, the menu disappointing, and we would have liked more fresh items at breakfast such as tomatoes, cucumbers, or scrambled eggs.

We’re back for the third time and it’s still great—quiet, nice, and the rooms are adequately sized; kids can play on bikes, trampolines, and chess boards on the grounds, and breakfast is tasty and plentiful, so we’ll likely return again. The only downside is that the booking system doesn’t show which exact room is reserved, though all three rooms we stayed in were comfortable; the restaurant is only open for a limited time, which we’d prefer to have more often.

A big, nice room with its own entrance and a seating area outside on a huge, well‑maintained, park‑like grounds. Very dog‑friendly. Free parking. Reliable Wi‑Fi. Good breakfast. Staff always extremely friendly.
