Nice old hotel with tiny rooms and low prices, and very friendly receptionists. Wifi did not reach the top floors at all and was not all that fast on lower floors – a major update would be needed if that were fixed.

The location is good. I was surprised that there were no toilets in the rooms; they were centralized per floor. The photos suggested that these were normal hotel rooms, and my colleague even had to use the central floor shower. I would have liked much more transparency in the offering.

A budget‑friendly, clean place in a safe Cologne neighbourhood works well for those who don’t want to stay in a hostel dorm. The rooms are very spartan and the furnishings are quite worn. Minor issues, like a loose toilet seat in the shared bathroom, could have been fixed with little effort.

The location is great, the place is clean – everything you need for a short stay is there.

The room and the toilet were clean. The mattress was an insult: completely sagging! The bed squeaked loudly with every small movement, and the heating made a constant, loud hissing noise all night, leaving us barely able to sleep. The furniture was very old and dusty.
