Breakfast was made to order and requested, no buffet but that was fine, no food waste, plenty to eat and the staff always asked if everything was okay or if you needed more. The family who live there and look after guests are very polite, attentive and warm, making guests feel truly welcomed and cared for. The room I stayed in used to be the priest’s office of the adjacent church, reachable through a door in the room. It was very cold and uncomfortable because the church door was open and cold air blew straight in. If I return, I’d pick a double room – they’re beautiful, comfortable, modern, with a private toilet and bathroom. Mine felt more like a dark chamber and was unappealing, plus the bathroom was on the hallway.
