The dreamy location and classic style of this “Fachwerk‑Hotel” make the stay an experience, and it’s great even without a dog! The dinner’s price/quality ratio is unfair—the food is tasty but far too expensive, and the hotel seems to take advantage of the limited local options.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, though a bit late for my taste; the location is quiet but lovely. I was a little confused by the dog blanket and treats in my room since I came without a dog.

The location is fine and they park motorbikes in the garage. The staff were a bit grumpy yet helpful, the food was bad, and they handed us a room that hadn’t been cleaned, which was disappointing for a ‘dog’ hotel.

It was a fantastic experience with a nice spacious room, cozy with the dog, very friendly people, and a wonderful walking environment; the chef was great. The only downside was the strict meal times.
