We never actually stayed there. The owner didn’t cancel the booking he confirmed. He sent me a message saying they had no rooms available—yet the booking was confirmed. I texted him back the next day early in the morning asking if we should come or not, and tried calling him with no success. I never heard back from him all day. By the end of the day we arrived only to hear that they had no rooms available and he was asking multiple times why we arrived… I’m still sure we didn’t live there, though we were not charged for this booking.

“Great stay, would come back.”

The air up there is much fresher than in the city, and the view over Tbilisi is fantastic. Murman and his family are really welcoming and always ready to help with anything. There’s also a ping pong table in the yard, which was a nice bonus in the evenings. Rooms are clean and clearly recently renovated. Overall a good pick if you want quiet and fresh air but still want to be close to the city— a taxi to the center runs about 10 GEL. The only downside for us was that the WiFi didn’t reach our room.

I found the place near Murman to be ideal, a cozy spot in Batumi, and the owner will take you in as if you were a close friend – a great place in Batumi.

“Сакартвело гаумарджос!”

I had a good time on the mountain with a magnificent view, and the welcoming hosts helped with everything needed; in the evening we gathered in the gazebo, grilled skewers, tasted wine and chacha, and listened to interesting stories. I slept well – no car noise, only distant howls of jackals beyond the mountains, but it didn't bother me. There are places to walk, shaded from the scorching sun by trees. The city and sea are not far away. I’ll definitely visit Murman again when I’m passing by – it can’t get any better. The only downside was that walking on the mountains was tough, but that’s more because I spent too much time on the computer and didn’t walk enough. Taxis run here, but walking is more beautiful.

“Вырваться из городской суеты в 15 минутах от Батуми”

It’s a spot for those who want to escape city bustle yet stay within 15 minutes of Batumi’s center. The guesthouse sits in the middle of a mandarin grove with breathtaking views of Batumi, Gonio, the airport, and the sea. The sunsets are simply unforgettable! The room has a large, comfortable bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The shared kitchen has everything needed to cook. There’s also a cozy gazebo for watching sunsets, and everything for grilling. If you want, you can do a short hike to the upper cable car station – we did it and liked it. And, of course, you can’t miss the hosts and their genuine Georgian hospitality. I liked everything!
