The room was very clean, nicely arranged, and offered a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Most importantly, it was very quiet. The staff were super welcoming and helpful (big thanks to the front‑desk person who offered to drop my cards at the post office). The restaurant/pub served simple but excellent dishes—special shout‑out to the moules frites and crème brûlée—and there was a good selection of beers. The countryside is beautiful, and Utrecht is easily reachable by bus or even on foot (a bit longer but a nice walk). I can’t find anything to criticize; it was a fantastic stay.

The hotel is tastefully and modernly furnished, situated beside the canal. The location is very nice. The breakfast is fine. There was free parking near the hotel. Bicycle rental was available at the hotel. Highly recommended!

“Definitely would stay there again.”

The room was good, clean, and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was good. Our room faced a canal and a huge field, completely quiet all night except for some early ducks. Breakfast was basic but decent, with good coffee and tea, a good selection of continental items, scrambled eggs, excellent bacon, and sausages. Dinner was so good that we returned to the hotel each of our four nights to dine there. We requested lighter duvets because the originals were too warm, and the staff swapped them without any hassle and checked back to make sure we were satisfied. Parking was free in town, and roadside parking was available everywhere. The bar and restaurant were frequented by locals every evening, giving it a friendly vibe. Definitely would stay again.
