Tsukihitei, nestled in Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers Japanese-style guest rooms with panoramic forest views, traditional tatami floors, and shoji paper screens. En suite bathrooms and futon beds complete the rooms. Nearby, Kasuga Taisha Shrine is 400m away, Todaiji Temple a 10-minute walk, and train stations within a 10-minute drive. Seasonal Japanese cuisine is served.

Everything was perfect: the reception, the room—almost a suite with large openings and Japanese panels, tatami, refined kaiseki meals in the room. The location lets you stroll in the park at night. Nothing to add.

The location is stunning, tucked in the forest. We stayed one night and relaxed like never before. The staff were super helpful and attentive to guests’ needs. Dinner lasts two hours and is a real culinary journey. I strongly recommend this place. No complaints.

The spot is right in the middle of the forest, the dinner and breakfast are delicious. The welcome is warm, and the hot bath in the room is great.
