“Poderia ser melhor !”
The lodge is beautiful, well maintained, and in a great spot. Everyone on the staff is super polite and helpful, which made the stay enjoyable. Breakfast is simple but tasty, with fruit, juices, and bread, and the omelets and tapiocas are delicious. We did run into a few issues that spoiled the experience. Choosing a lodge or hotel over an Airbnb meant we expected more convenience and services, but the room wasn’t cleaned, towels weren’t changed, and garbage wasn’t taken out even after I asked several times. Also, there are no beach towels. Parking was a big problem: because the lodge operates on day‑use, it gets chaotic during the day, there’s no valet or system to help with cars, and our vehicle got stuck multiple times, making it hard to leave. Finally, there was a billing issue: the drink prices on the bill were higher than those listed on the menu, and the explanation was that the posted prices were wrong. That was very unpleasant, as the charges should have been clear and any change communicated beforehand. Overall, the lodge has great potential, a lovely setup, and friendly staff, but it needs to improve its services, parking organization, and billing transparency to give guests a fuller experience.
