“Naja”
The accommodation was modern. Sandrine was very reserved and lived in the property. The kitchen was right next to the room and once she cooked, everything drifted in. There was an air‑conditioner and a ceiling fan, yet it was always extremely hot. In the wardrobe and bathroom there were still many of her items left. The fridge was very small and there was no dishware (no plates). Too many rules, little privacy—for example, you had to close the blinds when leaving the property, and eating was only allowed on the veranda. Even when we smoked outside the front door, we had to stand on the street to smoke until the neighbors complained to her, after which she gave us a ashtray. The pool directly in front of her terrace or living room was not particularly clean. The beach is a 1‑hour walk away.
