The terrace offers a view of the bay, but there are no local restaurants nearby; the bus still gets you there easily.

The place has a fantastic sea view and the host and her son are super friendly, creating a cozy vibe with helpful tips and a few local extras, but the neighborhood is a bit outside the city center and evening buses run thin – a taxi from town isn’t expensive.

The host was great and the spot is actually in a very quiet hilltop neighborhood, giving stunning views across Trieste’s bay from the terrace; we either took the bus to the city center or walked a short distance, and Susy and Franz offered solid advice and off‑the‑beaten‑path dining suggestions.

Susy and Franz impressed with their hospitality, offering plenty of city tips, always available, attentive, and helpful; thanks for your kindness! The balcony is perfect for relaxing, I slept very well on the large comfy bed, the apartment felt like home, we used the kitchen, everything was super clean, and we felt very comfortable.
