“Místo k odpočinku”

I stayed at a newly built, spotless place with a spacious terrace that served breakfast. The room was well furnished and stylish, equipped with AC and a fan. Towels were clean, and soap and shampoo were provided. The only drawback was the lack of a wardrobe, so I had to keep my belongings in the suitcase or on a small bench beside the bed, which isn’t convenient for guests with more items, but I only had a small backpack, so it fit. I also had access to a fridge on the ground floor and a kettle was available. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, tailored to my preferences. The location is right next to a fairly noisy road, so expect no silence and a compressor running daily for a few minutes, used by the owner to inflate diving bottles. The real perk was the near absence of mosquitoes, so I didn’t need a mosquito net, and when I stayed on the terrace late into the night it was completely comfortable. Silent Beach is a 15‑minute walk, and the farther Goyambokka Beach can be reached in 25 minutes. A PickMe tuk‑tuk will take you to Tangalle’s center for 700 LKR. The only downside was the missing wardrobe and the slightly worse water drainage from the shower.

“Relaxing vibes, short walk to the silent beach”

We loved this spot during our Sri Lankan trip! The rooms had been renovated and were clean, the bathrooms were spacious, breakfast was tasty, and the staff were super friendly. We’d happily return. 😊

“Habitación perfecta pero muy ruidosa”

The room and bathroom were roomy, modern, comfortable, and everything was very clean. The windows didn’t seal properly and traffic on the main road was loud and felt through the room, at least in the room I was given.

I spent four nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even going out of his way to give us tips. The rooms were spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the entire place felt fresh and well maintained. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely homemade breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs cooked to your liking, toast, curry, and tea or coffee – simple but really tasty and plenty. The best part: Silent Beach is literally a 10‑minute walk away. No crowds, just palm trees and peaceful waves. Great value, a super relaxed vibe, and genuinely friendly hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quiet, authentic stay in Tangalle! We’ll definitely be back. ❤️
