Excellent location, sea front and close to the center of Santa Maria, near various markets and restaurants. The staff were superb, welcoming and responsive to every request. The room was spacious, equipped with air conditioning and a large shower in the bathroom. Daily room cleaning was performed. Breakfast offered a decent selection of sweet, savory, and fruit items at buffet. The staff were very helpful, and we appreciated the option to check out later than the scheduled time. During the 7 nights we stayed there, the sheets and towels were never replaced.

I was disappointed by how far the experience fell short of what was advertised; the continental breakfast was very limited and some items were in poor condition, pancakes were missing for several days, and there was no espresso at first. The pool was unusable for the first few days because the water had a green tint. On the fourth day I asked the front desk for new towels and fresh bath gel and shampoo, and was told the hotel had recently changed ownership and the new management only had access to the facilities from 1 July. While I understand such a transition can cause hiccups, I expected the services listed at booking to be available. I tried to resolve the issues directly with the hotel and offered a compromise, but received no reply. I leave this review not to harm the hotel but to honestly share my experience and help future guests make an informed decision.

Central spot, clean enough, staff friendly. Breakfast was weak – no fresh bread, just a few bland items. Noise from the street, a mediocre pool, and a cramped room made the stay feel rushed; we ended up checking out early even though we had paid. The price didn't match what we got, and the pictures were way off. Definitely not coming back.
