“Disappointed”

The highlight was the two bathrobes, sauna, and hot tub, yet the hotel looked very dated and charged over $300/night for a room with no sea view; the room itself was dark, musty, with a sagging bed and old carpet, no outlets or charging ports on the desk and only one plug between the beds, breakfast was basic, and the town was too far to walk.

“Not luxurious, but comfortable”

The breakfast area stayed nice and clean, the food was adequate and kept replenished, but we didn't realize we didn't get daily tidying, so we had to wash cups and ask for more coffee and Kleenex; the toilets are really low, making them hard for seniors.

After a long travel day, free cookies and clam chowder at check‑in were a pleasant touch, the laundry area was spacious and reasonably priced, and breakfast offered many options; we could have used seating in the laundry room while waiting, and the hotel entrance is hard to locate—looking like a U‑Haul—so it desperately needs bigger signage.

“It was perfect hotel for fishing trip, except checking in”

I used this hotel for fishing trips; the buffet breakfast started at 6:00 am, letting me eat warm, good food before heading out at 6:20 am—rare for motels/hotels to match that level of service; however, the receptionist at check‑in was very slow and inefficient, taking over 30 minutes to process the check‑in even though all information had been shared beforehand and it should have taken less than 10 minutes.
