The food was good. The service was terrible: a white guy who drives the tuk‑tuk never greeted me, just walked past as if I didn’t exist. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, the room wasn’t cleaned, the bed wasn’t made, and the shower was malfunctioning. On arrival the toilet flush didn’t work; I was told to lift the lid and flush, and water splashed all over the bathroom floor. The mat was wet and nobody cleaned it, so I stayed with wet floors. No tea or coffee sachets were provided; I was told I had to buy coffee. I wanted to buy water but was told it wasn’t in the fridge.

Unfortunately, the staff members I interacted with were unfriendly and spoke to me in a language I didn't understand, making communication a significant challenge. This lack of hospitality and understanding made my stay feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable.

I was really disappointed with my stay as our rooms were not stocked with basic essentials like toilet paper and towels. When I requested these items, I felt disrespected by the staff. It was a frustrating experience that marred my otherwise expected comfort.

“I would not recommend if you are looking for a comfortable stay”

I loved the hotel's prime location, right in the heart of town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, my room had some significant drawbacks - it was situated right next to the restaurant, which meant I could hear guests and staff chatting all night. Additionally, the manual gate was a safety concern, the shower was dirty, the air conditioning wasn't working, and there was a pond with frogs right outside my room, which wasn't ideal.

I was impressed with the fantastic bedroom facilities, but unfortunately, our stay was slightly dampened by the lack of hot water - the shower was icy cold. It seemed like the geyser facility needed a bit of improvement to meet our needs.
