The location was great, but for the price the room felt very basic: there were no wine or drinking glasses, no brochure for the phone or switchboard, and the staff kept entering rooms without respecting privacy.

I spent two nights at Irene Country Hotel and it was a wonderful, peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful scenery that made the experience even better; I left with a memorable time and would definitely return.

The food was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.

The renovations look lovely, but the accessible room felt a bit awkward because of the door layout.

The room was neat, spacious, modern, and finished to a state‑of‑the‑art standard, and the staff were friendly; there were no issues.
