The cottage was beautiful, very homely and cosy. The little hamper left for us was a lovely touch. The breakfast included at the old pudding shop was also great. It also had a helpful folder explaining where everything was. No instructions on how to turn on the heating.

The property was gorgeous, quintessentially British, and stunningly located, with beautiful furnishings that covered every need and a lovely welcome pack. The breakfast at The Original Bakewell Pudding Shop was a real treat. The only downside was the bathroom extractor fan, which was incredibly noisy, but that was a minor issue.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Nook: the cottage was cosy and charming, exactly what one dreams of in an English village, with spacious, comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The downstairs lounge featured comfy couches, a table and chairs, and a gorgeous fireplace (though we didn’t use it). The bathroom was large and modern. Parking for our rental was a short walk away, and the location was right in Bakewell’s heart, close to restaurants, cafés, and shops. Breakfast at the Bakewell Pudding Shop was nice, and the host’s thoughtful gifts were appreciated. I would highly recommend this property, though the bedrooms are up a narrow staircase, so guests with mobility issues might find it challenging to get upstairs.

A beautiful, cosy cottage in Bakewell’s centre offered everything we needed for a short stay, with comfortable furnishings, a great shower, and a well‑equipped kitchen. Breakfast at the Bakewell Pudding Shop was included and a real treat; I’d love to return.
