The lake view from the room was great, breakfast and overall hospitality were good, the room was a decent size, the onsen was nice, and the property sits on one end of the small town so you can walk around the lake easily. However, the hotel, though neat and clean, feels dated like it hasn’t been renovated since the 80s, and I expected to see fireworks from the outdoor onsen but that didn’t happen.

The food was better than expected, and I walked along the path while watching fireworks. The location was more than satisfactory, and the value for money was top‑class, especially the dinner set which was great.
