The hotel’s location was fine, but the rooms need a complete renovation.

“Good food and friendly staff, but the room itself was old, broken, and neglected”

The food was generally good, the staff were polite and pleasant, and the sea view was very nice. However, the booking confirmation said 3 beds (since we were traveling with two children), but the room only had 2 small beds. The room was very old and in poor overall condition. On arrival, the refrigerator was broken and leaking, flooding the floor. The air conditioning was extremely loud, disruptive, and broken. The TV didn’t work and the remote was completely corroded. There was no kettle, no water, and no complimentary drinks in the room as expected. We noticed staff reserving sunbeds with towels early in the morning, so no one could use them unless they paid extra. We reported all these issues to reception on 27/9, and a maintenance staff member inspected them but left without fixing anything. None of the problems were resolved during our stay.

The spot is great, right by the beach, and the bar man Mahmoud, Moustafa Sultan, Ahmed Kishk, and Mr. Noby were all friendly. But Mr. Kareem Malak never smiled, and some reception guys were rude. My shower had no cold water; I asked for a plumber three times on the first day and they said it was fixed, yet I found the tube twisted myself and had to hold it down to get water. The bathroom definitely needs a check.

The beach is only pretty. The reception staff were awful, constantly saying that Booking customers don’t get special treatment for rooms and that their attitude was harsh. We wore regular wristbands and they told us that Booking guests wear the regular ones too. When we asked to cancel, they said “Sorry, I got confused” and switched our room.
