The location is great, just a 10‑minute walk to the center, and there’s a free street parking spot close to the accommodation. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is appealing and sufficient, but the room furnishings feel a bit dated.

The bed creaks with every movement, yet it remains comfortable.

The location is very good, and the old town is a short walk away. The rooms were solid and clean, suitable for a short stay. The dining room is beautiful and the open kitchen is well set up, showing great potential. However, the breakfast seemed to be managed by students or very young people with little culinary experience; items weren’t restocked, fruit was scarce, and the sausage and cheese selection was very limited. The young lady wore gloves to cut the sausage but kept pulling them through her hair while continuing her kitchen work. It’s also a pity that the restaurant isn’t open in the evenings for hotel guests. The hotel’s occupancy was so low that it didn’t seem to matter. Good, traditional Franconian cuisine with good beer would definitely be appreciated.
