The location is great for Mt Cook, though the place feels a bit shabby.
The staff were friendly and the accommodation looked cute.
I love everything about this chalet; there’s a laundry available.
The beds were clean and the showers hot, and the drive to Lake Tekapo and Pukaki was short; there were also nearby food spots and a grocery store.
“Ok for a quick 1 night stop over”
The location was good and the downstairs bed was comfortable; we only stayed one night on our way to Queenstown. Inside, though, everything feels very old—kitchen and its utilities need updating, and none of the appliances were usable. I wouldn’t stay here again; the upstairs beds are very uncomfortable and the place needs love, attention, and better furniture.
