The neighbors were noisy until midnight.
“Relatively quiet and comfortable, but maintenance is lacking.”
The highlight was that we slept comfortably. However, cleanliness and maintenance were very inconsistent. I never requested a room change at a hotel, but I did, and the new room still needed basic upkeep. The shower was dirty, the fridge didn’t work, the toilet seat was loose, and the TV remote buttons were broken. There were dirty fingerprints on the bathroom door and stains in many parts of the room, even on the lamp shade in the new room. These issues likely stem from customers touching surfaces with dirty hands over time, but they should be replaced sooner rather than later. It’s a maintenance and service issue that isn’t the fault of the cleaning staff, but the overall level of attention to room upkeep is clearly subpar.
“Disappointing and not very handicapped accessible.”
Most people were friendly, but the bathrooms were awful. The tubs were tiny; as a disabled guest I sat on the bench but couldn’t keep my legs in without extreme pain. I’ve stayed in many hotels and that tub was not a normal size. My husband couldn’t use it either, and he isn’t as large as I am. The staff insisted I needed an upgrade because the bed height in the non‑handicap rooms was too high, yet the handicap rooms had beds so tall I barely fit. The rule that my child couldn’t stay in a room with a king‑size bed with me was ridiculous. The staff tried to get me to give them 5 stars because they upgraded me for free, but it wasn’t my fault that the system was messed up, and I’m not going to lie for a $20 discount. I offered to pay. Also the breakfast area wasn’t fully wheelchair accessible; when I was there I blocked the whole line and couldn’t get to everything.
