The staff were very kind. The parking lot was clean and tidy.

The campsite had river views and you could hear the hippos. There was a BBQ and a place to wash utensils. The bathrooms were very clean. I recommend booking the safari; we were lucky and saw a leopard. Everything was great.

“Fabulous stay, worth a return visit.”

Wonderful campsites. Big, shady sites were well equipped, right on the water with BBQ facilities. Great location deep in the Khwai. Lots of game and some very relaxed elephants walking right through the camp. The lodge had an incredible deck over a beautiful hippo pool. Unfortunately, the pool was still being built while we were there, so we were just a couple of weeks too early. The staff were wonderful. A gift in the restaurant was lovely and attentive, and the very knowledgeable ranger, when not busy, visited guests on the deck to share stories of the wild, so we heard more about the local area and wildlife. Nothing.

“Tolle neue Campsite!”

The new little campsite near a brand‑new lodge is great, with dedicated staff and tasty, though pricey, food. The lodge sits wonderfully by a lagoon where elephants graze; not all campsites have that view, so check when booking. At night we heard elephants and hyenas on the campsite, as is typical in Botswana. The access roads to the lodge and campsite could use better signage and are very sandy.

“Maravilloso”

The whole experience was fantastic; the restaurant was perfect thanks to the views, the food, and the cold beer. They organized several excursions professionally, and we left very happy. It would have been nice to have electricity at the campsite or in the bathroom, but that’s a minor issue.
