Sergio greeted us with genuine warmth, made us feel comfortable and pointed us toward cool spots to check out. The location right by the lagoon is unbeatable; even though the weather wasn’t on our side we still had a great time. Nothing really bothered us – just a few tiny tweaks could be made, but overall it feels like a solid 10.

Sergio’s attentiveness and the fact that the place sits right on the lagoon were the highlights – the Wi‑Fi even reaches the water, and the shared kitchen comes with a fridge and grill, plus a grocery just a block away and downtown only a dozen blocks on foot. The spot isn’t fancy, and we did run into a couple of quirks: the gas stove was broken and swapped for an electric one that isn’t as hot, and the bathroom door didn’t latch properly.

The location is the main selling point, sitting right where you need to be. Unfortunately the rooms weren’t kept clean and the facilities felt poorly maintained.
