Located on the edge of Grengewald forest, 2 km north of Luxembourg Findel Airport, Hotel Casa Borghese offers free WiFi, a terrace, and Italian cuisine in its restaurant with terracotta walls and chandeliers. Each functional room features a TV with satellite channels, desk, and modern private bathroom with shower, toilet, and free toiletries. The hotel is a 13-minute drive from Luxembourg centre and 2 km from Senningen Castle.

The restaurant is perfect, but the room is shabby, the mattresses are soft and the pillows are too soft, and there’s no coffee maker in the room.

Since the new owners took over, a lot of work has been done and the reception is a huge improvement compared to before; a few small things could still be improved, such as a tablet in the bathroom, a trash can in the room, and the air conditioning (apparently in progress), but everything else is perfect.

The staff were friendly, but they completely ignored the fact that we were traveling with two large dogs and had been placed in a room on the second floor, which could only be reached by a steep staircase with no landings between the steps—something that seems legally questionable.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, central location right on the main street and a bus stop. Good and fast links to the airport and Luxembourg city. The furniture and bathroom fittings could use an update, and the ceiling and lamps were very dirty.
