I liked how close the water was to the location, but I couldn’t stay because when I walked into my room it was so full of smoke that my 4‑year‑old smelled like smoke after just 3 minutes and my 2‑year‑old started coughing. I didn’t like that they didn’t have a smoke‑free room available and that it’s supposed to be a non‑smoking hotel! I didn’t like that there wasn’t any management available over the weekend with the authority to help us. I didn’t like that we had to pay top dollar for a room at any hotel that had an available room last minute because Lighthouse left us homeless. I didn’t like that I had to move my wife, young children and luggage around Pacifica to find an available room both nights I stayed in Pacifica because the room I booked wasn’t healthy enough for us to stay.

The room overlooked the beach and was beautiful. The hotel is old and desperately needs updating. There were only two outlets in the room. The furniture was old, some painted. Outside was dirty and rusty on the 12‑inch veranda. The layout of the hotel is very odd – you’d have to see it to understand.

The view is amazing, and staying at Moonraker restaurant is worth it. The location in Pacifica is great, with coffee shops and a cafe right next door, and Nick’s restaurant is just across the street – a solid spot for food, drinks, and dancing. The hotel feels dated and could use an update, and the pool was closed while the hot tub was a bit small.

I appreciated the view, the bed was very comfortable, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and came with a desk and a lounging chair. The garage was also easily accessible.
