It was very comfortable overall, with a good bathroom and shower, though a bit old but everything works. There's no mini‑fridge and no windows facing forward; you don't pay in advance with the reservation, you pay on site, which can be inconvenient because you need to have the necessary payment method ready. For example, it would be better if you could pay in advance and only charge extras upon checkout.

I absolutely loved staying at Bahia Nueva! Having traveled to many hotels, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite stays ever; the place is cozy and even has a cute cat that greeted me in the evenings. Everyone on the staff is pleasant and dedicated to giving you the best experience. The location is superb—right across the street from the beach and main pier, and convenient for tour pickups, with a variety of shops within walking distance. The only downside was having to leave.
