“Malgré les dysfonctionnements et l'état vieillot de la résidence nous avons passé un bon séjour.”

The residence was well‑situated, the apartments were comfortable with average bedding, perfect for families with ski access and close to shops, and the pool, sauna, and hammam were highly appreciated. However, the cleaning system was lacking: after years staying at Airelles, the housekeeping sometimes was mediocre or absent, even though the property demands immaculate condition. This year we found a very dirty terrace, a floor‑level intercom, no fire alarm, and a fridge that worked so poorly we had to discard frozen food—overall, the service was very insufficient.

The location was great with ski runs nearby, a covered pool, sauna, and hammam. The apartment was noisy and poorly insulated, and guests didn’t respect the rule about wearing ski shoes inside.

“Marketed as a hotel,but actually a self-service apartment at a four star price”

The hotel’s facilities were generally good and the property’s hardware and physical conditions were decent. But the place is marketed as a hotel yet operates like a short‑term rental with very limited services. Many key conditions were only revealed after the booking became non‑refundable: no in‑room Wi‑Fi, lobby Wi‑Fi capped at 30 minutes, no daily housekeeping, the bed came only with a mattress so guests had to make their own bed, no toilet paper was provided, and guests had to buy their own. Reception was open only from 8:30–11:30 and 16:00–19:30. Guests must clean the room before check‑out or risk losing part of the deposit. These terms were not clear before payment, and once disclosed, cancellation was impossible. In my view, it’s essentially a long‑stay apartment sold at a four‑star hotel price; the property’s hardware is acceptable, but the service and transparency fall short of a hotel stay.
