I was double‑booked, so they gave me a room in a nearby hotel. The only negative was that it took a long time to secure the room at night, and the trip to the hotel was exhausting.

I stayed in a Japanese‑style room that was very spacious and comfortable. I arrived late, but the staff handled it politely, and I would like to stay again.

The front‑desk staff were friendly, but the proximity to the railway made it hard to fall asleep early at night.

I could relax in a spacious Japanese room that felt almost too large for one person, complete with a hanger rack holding about six hangers, a four‑row towel rack, and one large and one small towel. The staff at the café that serves the reception were all very approachable and surprisingly kind, making me feel like I was still in a world where human warmth exists. The location is unbeatable—just outside the south exit of Ishikiri Station, a single line from Namba and Tsuruhashi, and close to Nara (though Google Maps points to the northwest exit, which is a bit of a detour and involves a downhill slope; if you come from Namba, take the front carriage, and if from Nara, take the last carriage to be near the south exit). The only downside was that in the morning a woman was using the bathroom to apply makeup, which forced me to wait over 20 minutes; it would have been nice if there had been a note asking guests to do makeup in their rooms.

The vibe, cleanliness, and proximity to the station were great, but I was misled about the room when I arrived.
