Arriving, the host swapped me into a different hotel to give me a larger room. The bathroom was dirty, the bed uncomfortable with a foam mattress, and the fan made a horrible noise. The adjacent room was only separated by a metal door, and to top it off, the kettle would electrocute you if you didn’t unplug it before using it.

The manager/owner was very helpful, attentive and the housekeeper efficient. The room was big enough that the extra beds made it feel a bit cramped.

The host was genuinely very kind, welcoming and helpful, even offering to rent bikes. The accommodation was quiet and the ceiling fan worked well.

The welcome was excellent. The guesthouse is simple but pleasant, with a balcony overlooking the small street. Mosquito nets hang above the beds. It’s close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast wasn’t included, but the owner brought us everything we needed to get organized.
