The staff and residents were very friendly and accommodating; some even offered to take pictures, which was nice. The location is beautiful with streams and breathtaking views, even in the mist they still look stunning. The only downside is that there is no stove to prepare a simple breakfast.

The room was neat and the bed was perfect, with a duvet that smelled like a fresh wash. I especially liked the outdoor shower with a starry night view. The stay was very nice overall. The fridge made noise and the microwave lights were on during the night, which was awkward, but it was a quick fix. Regarding the shower, the geyser is small, so it’s best to shower together; waiting for one person to shower can result in a cold shower, especially in winter.

The privacy, hot tub, outdoor braai, and fireplace were absolute winners. Everything else was fine.

The location was perfect, tucked in the woods at Walkersons, and we had a very special stay with plenty to do in the estate.

It was beautiful and really excellent accommodation, the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. It was a bit costly but ultimately not terrible
