The place had plenty of character and a great spot, made me feel welcomed and the vibe was solid, and the breakfast was good, but the dinner options were pricier than I expected.

It was full of personality and had a lovely covered terrace outside; our room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, though parking was a bit tough with limited space.

We enjoyed the whole experience, the room was very comfortable and the setting was in a beautiful quiet pretty village; the pub felt like a local spot and the food was excellent, with nothing to complain about.

The shared areas at the back of the pub were great for relaxing, and everything else was fine.

They kindly gave me tea that wasn’t charged, and the dinner food was superb, but I was warned that we shouldn’t shut the outer door because it would keep late arrivals out; fortunately we heard them! At breakfast, it would have been better if they’d asked what drink we wanted.
